Find the key to your fitness success in your own personalized exercise log book. We believe we can help by making it easy to find what's working and what can be incorporated into your daily routine. The Daily Exercise Log can pull all of your exercise information together in one place and highlight what is giving you the best results. Our daily exercise totals provide a summary of exercise activities for the day.
A customized report is also available for reviewing your exercise progress over time. All of us experience highs and lows in our exercise success during the year. However, being aware of how our exercise behaviors change during those slow times can be very useful and can be adapted for a better outcome. See how your exercise totals can work for you and your fitness goals.
Track your weekly workout and your total calories burned each day. While your body naturally burns calories throughout the day, helping it along with an increase in exercise may be all you need to reach your goals. Whether you are tracking your exercise for weight loss management or optimal body conditioning, this is an important total to watch. It can be reviewed along with your Diet and Nutrition Log to see if you are burning more off than you are consuming in day.
Our exercise database provides a calories-burned total for each exercise based on its type and other calculations, including some of your health readings. If you are using a fitness device or fitness equipment that provides a caloric burn total, you have the ability to input the number provided when adding the exercise entry. Totals often vary between fitness products but they will provide a useful measurement for tracking. Variation occurs when different elements such as gender, weight, incline, and other options are used for one product calculation while another product does not include them.
Review of your total fat burned for a day can help you find which exercises are providing you with the most benefit. Tracking the foods you eat in your Diet and Nutrition Log while watching your fat burned each day can reveal if you are helping or hurting your exercise efforts with your diet. HealtheHuman™ was designed to be integrated with other parts of your health. Our tools help you get the best outcome by taking an integrated, comprehensive approach to your health, fitness, and wellness.
As with the caloric burn total, we calculate the total amount of fat burned for each of the exercises in our database. Totals from fitness equipment and fitness devices can be input for each exercise if they are provided by the product.
Are you measuring your daily cardio? How much time are you actually getting your heart pumping every day? If this measurement is key to your fitness or medical goals, this total might be critical in your success. When you add up all of your exercise for a day, you might be surprised by how much actual cardiovascular effort you've expended. Exercise tracking is not just for the fitness enthusiast or athletes. It can be very important to track if you are in recovery from an injury or other serious health problem.
Custom exercises may be flagged as a cardio type of exercise. The total for that exercise entry will be included with the cardio time total. All other exercise will only be included in the Cardio Time total if they are classified as cardiovascular exercise.
Time spent building up your muscle mass and strength is also tracked within the Daily Exercise Log. Use our body measurements tracker to follow how your body changes with your strength training times. If you are trying to increase your muscle mass during exercise, tracking your body measurements can help keep you motivated while also finding where you are building up the most muscle. You could also use a body composition monitor to get detailed readings of your muscle mass and track your results alongside your exercise routines. You can also see how an increase or decrease in muscle mass effects how your body responds to the foods you eat.
Custom exercises can be flagged as a strength building exercise. The total will be included in the daily strength time total. All other exercises will only have times included in the total if they are classified as strength building activities.
All exercise types that are performed in a day will be included in the total exercise time. As you find which exercises work best for you, it may reveal that your overall exercise time does not always increase. It includes all types of exercises, whether you are performing your warm up stretching exercises or you are in a full sprint. See how different seasons and work schedules affect your exercise times throughout the year. Lifestyle changes, such as a move, new job, travel can also be tracked in your comprehensive health profile while you are watching your exercise progress.
Please note that the values provided in HealtheHuman™ and from exercise equipment are only estimates. Many of our estimates are based on calculations provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
