Automatically Calculate Your BMI & More...
When you input weight and height in the body measurement tracker, we automatically calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) value. BMI is used to estimate total body fat and evaluate increased health risk factors. Other key health metrics that we calculate for you include Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Waist-to-Height, and Waist-to-Hip ratios. BMR is an estimate of your daily resting caloric burn rate and considers age, gender, height, and weight. The Waist-to-Height ratio is determined by dividing your waist measurement by height. Higher ratios indicative of higher intra-abdominal fat and are associated with a greater risk of cardiovascular disease. A waist-to-hip ratio determines the distribution of body fat. All ratios are estimates and should be reviewed with a health advisor.
